Thank you for visiting the Desert Fire Ministries website. We hope you enjoy your time here and catch the vision we have for the tri-county area surrounding Jackson, Mississippi. Your prayers and encouragement have been an inspiration to us as we re-tool Desert Fire Ministries in light of the many changes that have taken place since our original vision for the ministry.

Thanks also to those of you who unselfishly gave of your time and finances to support the outreach activities we did in 2007. With your help we were able, for the fifth year in a row, to offer free gift wrapping at a local large bookstore. We are wrapped absolutely free each Saturday from 11 to 2pm and on Christmas Eve until the store closed. Each year we get many favorable comments as we wrap last minute books and presents. This year was no exception. People were overjoyed at the prospect of something costing no money. We told the patrons that we do the wrap to show, in a small way, how God's gift of Jesus Christ 2000 years ago cost us nothing. We were pleased to bless others during the holiday season.
